so a normal year then... You are are hardy bunch willing to live in perpetual winter, it would brake me.
its still raining .... its breaking me now ! especially when I know I would only have to drive 100 miles to be in the sun. Anyone want to buy 45 ha croft and a very popular 14 pitch caravan site or swap for land and cottage anywhere away from here . Tourists looking miserable...

Cool drizzly strong NNW wind, Roads very quiet so less tourists on the move, but then the Ferry had a wee bump earlier in the week and not running for at least two weeks. Maybe shows how much off traffic was just passing through to the Islands.

Where abouts are you jockcroft? My part time help is currently on skye sounds like sun burn will not be a problem. Really hot and sunny here though (lancs cheshire border)
Edge of the World/end of the road, unless you start swimming.
We Have sunshine at last. Past hour or so and warmer. Had a little rain again last night so hopefully keep grass growing.
Often say here if dont like the weather, look out again in half an hour. Sometimes changes in minutes.
Hope your part timer is enjoying his time on Skye. Again there it is possible to move a few miles and be in different weather. (And away from midges) though out there never found them to be half as vicious as ours.
