Wildlife is glad there is a shoot round here.
Not much water for them apart from what keeper been putting out.
No game birds gone down, but still water for nature.

Sounds silly but I actually wondered where are the wild animals/birds getting their water from atm? No puddles or things with rainwater in about the place? Would they go to ditches?

Should we be putting water out? I noticed a lot of bird droppings near the sprayer fill up tank in the yard yesterday (wet patch on concrete from a leak)

Hot and humid over the past few days. Have had close to a dozen thunderstorms in four days. Some dropped very little rain in us but total of inch and a half. Other areas not so lucky with hail up to golf ball size. Two tornados reported but no damage. With the heat and moisture crops are racing along but looking very lush and lodging will become an issue.

Wee had a heavy shower on Wednesday afternoon for about an hr, and very wet this morning, will do the world of good, its St swithens days, so 40 days on the cards now, none the last 40 days.
