Drove over to Cambridge today and back, crops look well, looks fairly dry over there, sun with just one heavy shower, they were ploughing and drilling after beet on one farm I spied from the road. Bit windy coming back home again mind.

Been blowing a gale for nearly 24hrs, tree blocking the road this morning when the gritter went down so they cancelled the school bus (had said tree shifted in 5 minutes) met a horse shelter in kit form flying over a fence on the way to town only finished building it 2 weeks ago.., dirty hail showers and generally unpleasant, and repeat for tomorrow. I expect it's been pretty breezy in Caithness, Orkney and Shetland
