I don't imagine that'll get to us, but there's hope on the horizon...... every forecast is suddenly saying Wednesday will be proper wet!
Best dig out the lucerne seed from the back of the shed, it must think I've forgotten about it!

Got up early to spray herbicide on Linseed as according to forecast only chance of windspeed dropping for next few days. Only after filling sprayer and pulling into field did I realise just how much rain we had last night! Tramlines really soft and field like pudding-even after being having travelled them once with fert. Just checked weather station and had nearly 11ml rain last night-can't believe how field conditions have changed in a couple of days! Apologies to those of you still waiting for rain but looking at the forecast for next week, I think drought could be over in our part of the world!

Yesterday was drizzly then light showers, with overnight minimum of10.5 degrees, 56% humidity, 73.0 cmHg.

This morning heavy showers. Overnight minimum 6.5 degrees, 51% humidity, 74.1 cmHg.
That's the first proper rain since 25th April, when we had snow!
