We had had 26mm between 8am and 4pm yesterday and hasnt stopped still raining now. Dare not look at the rain gauge but quite a few fields now look like lakes. Another bloody disaster like 2012!!

This is looking like 1985/2000, in both those years we didn't finish harvest, we just stopped.
In 1985,it picked up for us for about 3 weeks in October and allowed for a salvage operation.2000 was different though,it started raining about mid August and we had some on every single day right through to January.The only year i have known that to happen,and then trumped by foot and mouth starting in Feb 2001.
