Half the prospective wheat field is crumbly, half is like lard. Cut it in tomorrow before the rain arrives again tomorrow night or wait and wait and wait for it to never dry up properly like it never has here since early August. Another bollox year.
Yesterday the forecast for today was bright sunny day clouding over late afternoon and windy. So I pulled up to fields that I want to plant to grass thinking they would dry. So we have wind but no sun and ground is not drying at all well. May get one in later but that will be lucky if I do.
It's now started here. The sky looked very black as I was driving home.hopefully there won't be to much. I was going to finish the headlands on the 40 a.c block I'm on and get it drilled tomorrow but I'm not so sure now.
