Two lovely springlike days (Monday and Tuesday), daffs sat up and looked lively. Today wet and windy, although temperature is 8-9 degrees instead of 5-6.

Yup and this wind is terrific, tomorrow/friday looks a bit crap most of mondays boating lakes have gone now. Then the easterlies seem to be calming stuff down

Just hope tomorrows rain doesn't do what mondays did and stall over us for the day and dump another 30mm+ chunk that would become catastrophic. They really don't seem to know on these fronts how quick they will clear or if they will stop

Well this last days and this wind has been terrific, everywhere has dried up massively. Just hope the next 2 days don't spoil it before the easterlies dry us up again

No, not especially. Soil is just constantly wet - it hasnt been running off. Pleased we reduced the dose simply as the ground is so cold still that the plant wouldnt use it anyway.

Bobbins today. Rained since about 5am. Stopped now.
