28 mm in last hour and a half, (north of Lincoln) , turn the tap off now please that will do nicely.

Yeah, we saw that go by. Was out having a beer in Stow but only got a few drops on the windscreen unless it kindly waited until I got back home. We didnt get anything in the afternoon / evening yesterday - just the morning - in our bit north of Lincoln.

We had 11mm north of diss. Next village new buckenham had 38mm. Wymondham, spooner row,Morley etc had more (much more I suspect). Roads flooded, homes flooded, fire brigade out pumping. Norwich airport had water coming in the roof such was the torrential downpour.

Keep missing all the rain, only 4 miles to the west but still to far away, only 2 nights of dew so far and 8 mm fell a fortnight ago, nothing in the long term forecast!
V early harvest or potentially no harvest if the heat keeps up.Not looking good.Struggling wors aborting flowers, ww still due last fert but keeping it in bag and sb beginning to struggle and some have not even had a first spray yet as not wanting to scorch it. Fun times

Still dry here. Forecast rain for this morning did not appear and missed all the showers the other day.

One day it will come, nothing more certain. Question is, will it stop again?

5 mm yesterday evening north east of Lincoln. Helped a bit but could do with a fair bit more. Mowing the hay/silage this week, so that should bring it on.

Looks like north easterly will set in again. It seems to blow the rain too farm inland for us. We just get lots of sea mist.

What a wondeful day today sunshine since sun rise so I thought I would go and cut the out field of the Cricket pitch. The out field has been a challenge up till last week when I finaly managed too do all of the ground with my fairway mower. We had rain this week, like we have had every week so far this year got up to the green and promptly got stuck it is so wet we have water standing damn nearly all over it post code for those that are inquisative SG9 0QF. 29mm this week since mid day last Sunday. Total for the year 260mm. Only one 7day period Sunday noon to Sunday noon dry this year 13th May to 20th May

Last year was quite similar, but it did rain on the 3 June and flooded by 6 and wrote off 70 acres. But this year no dew even with thick harr and nothing forecasted.
