Your current weather.

Constant clouds of dust blowing around farm yard, although very good in the short term for hay making it is beginning to become very expensive as the days without rain roll on. We rent out our grazing land and have noticed that grass has stopped growing but the cattle look very well. A good soaking is needed before we try to establish next years Rape crop. August can be one of the wetter months, let's hope so.

Damp today. I went to see stock this morning and came in decidedly damp from walking through a light but steady shower of rain.

Beginning to tire of Easterly winds. They scorch too much regardless of whether they bring heat or ice.

Driving into Muirkirk ( 800 feet up in the hills towards the Lanarkshire border ) yesterday , it was over 27 deg at 11am . Heavens.
Knew there was something strange going on - turns out that just over the hills from Muirkirk ( about 25 miles north) it went to 33.2 deg later that day in Motherwell - Scotland's warmest ever day , and not even July or August !

Some doing rain dance around here !
witch craft ,rain dance, tried them all not a drop for the last 3 weeks and longer. Weve had hay/ haylage in its various states of making left in the field nearly every day to tempt the rain but all to no avail, though have worked out that whatever weather i would like at any onetime is not going to happen as for one of those weeks was meant to be sunning myself on a greek island and it pee'd down every day bar one

Finally had a hot day today! 27°C.
All because there's no wind (or wasn't until a few minutes ago).
21°C yesterday and it hasn't been much more than that for the last couple of weeks in the strong easterlies we've been having.
