I remember years ago talking to a guy from Genus and we both remarked how mild it was that particular January. During the conversation, he told me that he had actually cut his lawn on New Years Day.

it was just a cover photo on the weather app - no idea where it is. This is what our local lake / dam / major water storage looks like at the moment

Here, in the north of Spain, we have unceremoniously since December 19 without seeing rain, something totally out of the ordinary, the anticyclone has been on us for almost a month. The earth is very dry. The sowing work was done late because it did not rain until the end of October and the last wheats that were sown have almost not been born.
