Thought may get cutting again today but had heavy showers on and off all day, although when the sun pops out it is very warm, just had a thundery shower, getting a bit fed up with it to be fair.

In the middle.
11am and rape was 11% moisture, went to put header extension on and had a gentle shower. Got everything back inside just in time for a thunderstorm. 20mm in 20 mins or less. Flooded grainstore and workshop. Rained on and off since and we now have over 30mm for today. I think that is 60mm since combining was stopped on thursday night.

Watched a thunder storm go round us mid afternoon yesterday then it came back and
we had stair rods for about 45mins. Neighbouring cultivated rape fields went from dry to puddled up in that time. Raining now and it’s not forecast!!!
