I have had 320 mm of rain between 1st July and 4th September - so over 12 and a half inches in nine and a half weeks. I've seen years with and inch and a half of rain a week , non stop , and it was disastrous. This year it's come in huge dollops with dry spells inbetween. That said it's looking pretty serious now around here.

We’ve started cutting again today, meant to be a potential rain spell through the night but dry all weekend afterwards.

I’m certainly not used to big clumps of soil all over the tractor and mowers while cutting

Same here. Could do with a drop still irritating , rape could do with a drink.
