Dry all the way from here mid Lincs up to Malton. Some one tractor pulling some land up in the Yorks wolds. Got back to Lincs and it must have rained slightly while we were away as roads wet. Saw one tractor in north Lincs pulling some land up to dry where it hasn't rained today. Not much activity other than that.
A few more windy dry days like this could see some action on kind land, but maybe not here. Really need at least a week of drying weather. Giving the beet harvest priority now. The drilling can wait longer term. Not much advantage in forcing it now.
