9mm of rain today in South Lincolnshire.. doesn't sound much but land is so saturated it seems a lot worse. Now got a weather warning for tomorrow night's rain here

A bright start followed by overcast conditions and the odd spot of rain.
Beet harvester just travelling and beet coming up OK on the whole.
Not pretty where the trailers are crossing a stubble field on the tramlines.
I really really don't want want anymore rain now. It will turn the headlands into a quagmire but that seems to be the sort of year it is.
