Its not currently raining (y) which only means it has not long stopped raining and will shortly rain again :banghead::banghead: Yard just starting to show dry bits yesterday afternoon and this morning everywhere is a pudding again.

Washout. Another few days in the sheds or touring industrial estates (and road side cafes :)) getting stuff mended or finding spares. Working on refurbing my cleaner loader purchase. It needs plenty doing. Ironically though its so wet that the soil is dropping off the beet fairly well in the harvester where it isn't too sticky. So maybe the cleaner loader was another wet weather knee jerk purchase (like the plough and the MF30) that I didn't need. Tinkering with it helps preserve my sanity though, so that's something.

Been the pattern since September- rain swinging up from southwest coming back in from the east and stalling over midlands, need something to break this cycle.

having had last weekends not forecast as heavy and prolonged torrential rain was not looking forward to being on the end of todays forecast, 100mm before lunch, The weather forecasters are wrong, this time in our favour for once. Weve just caught the tail end of what looks like on the radar to be heading south, im not gloating just thankfull cos reckon the majority of our land would have been a lake as its saturated as it is
