14 mm overnight and still raining. Might as well shut down till January and do something else. Have another look then.
Can't lift beet, can't do anything on the land. Can't even dig a hole without it collapsing in or filling with water. 3" of water on the surface in low areas even with a fully functioning drainage system. Not depressed, not angry, just indifferent to it now. There is absolutely nothing I can do to stop relentless rain so no point getting angry about it.
Will carry on tinkering in the shed, trying to keep expenses as low as possible.

I can’t remember so many tight swirling low pressures going over us before? We’re getting each one more than once, I’m sure they used to be a bigger pattern and they would just sweep through with one band of rain on them?
