Steady rain here this morning, was fine at 03.30 when I let the dog out, already had 6mm. Sugar beet are looking the best crop on the farm at the moment. Sprayed rape off yesterday, looks half ok from the road, not so good once you are in it.Combines will be rolling round this way in winter barley in about ten days if weather behaves itself.

Funny day here in Stirlingshire, very dull and heavy shower at 6 o'clock, no drying at all, no hay weather in forecast up here still to many showers bubbling up in afternoon, it's been at least 8 days since a totally dry day.
