We've had nowt , not haying weather though . dull and dank but warmish.Alot more rain today than was forcast, seems set in for the evening which will help the grazing ground and some over-seeding

I don't understand how the weather forecasts are continually inaccurate yet they have to answer to no-one . 20 yrs ago it was far more accurate . The BBC are the worst .We always have different weather to many parts of the country due to being close to Europe and the Channel, however the last few months have been extraordinary and frustratingly weather forecasts have been completely inaccurate, even in short periods of time of 3 or 4 hours.
Having been so wet until early March and then continuously dry with short periods of high temperatures in April and May it has since the longest day become very cool with temperatures well below normal night and day. While it is damp, we have still not had any appreciable rain and grass growth is almost non existent.
Certainly not haymaking weather and much of what we have cut we have ended up wrapping.
We keep being promised a settled and warm period but it doesn't happen, can any of the great weather experts tell me when in the South east we will get some weathr to make hay? We cut some last week and have now turned it 5 times and every day it gets damp again!!!!
