Yes, chucking it down here and dark at 4.10, but hasn't really been any daylight all day.

the thing is since that vaguely reasonable week in mid oct it barely stopped raining, and not dried so its just been slowly topping up

And the forecast for here shows just a light shower on Thursday teatime for the whole of next week. Just like it has done many times since September only for it to pee it down most days. I wouldn't mind it cold and dry. But some wind would also be nice to dry it off a bit. My tractor is all back together at last. All the beet is up. Just need some settled weather. I have 60 acres of wheat to get in, some light which will go easily, some heavy which won't. Ho hum.
