Well, I'm caked in cold clay, but have freed up some big old drains that haven't seen daylight for a few years.

Setting in for a traditional Lincolnshire Spring. Try not to look at the crops. Do other things, and hopefully wake up one morning and its warm with a nice shower.

Excellent day for putting N on seedbeds.
But unfortunately been ordered into the garden. Thinking of chucking on a packet of pollinator mix and topping it once a year. Wonder if the mower will start? Greenhouse needs clearing out. Just at as it was left midsummer when the tomato plants finally scorched up when I ran out of enthusiasm and energy and patience and harvest took priority.

The weather is brutal outside the now, very very windy and turning cold, the lambing fields won't be fun this week up here. My 3 week old lmbs have the backs up tonight for sure, second lot not started yet, they better stay where they are for a few days.

is it me or does 2021 seem cold and windy so far. An odd warm day here and there.

Around here the weather has been pretty cold, very few spring like days, absolutely no grass growth, white frost on the ground last few days. Pretty grim really. No better this week either, probably worse in fact.
