North Wiltshire.
Sunday was overcast then torrential rain, as my neighbour went out my yard with my rake to move some of his straw :-/
Monday, light shower then cool and overcast.
I would dearly like to make a start on my wheat and second cut :-/

If I can look at a satellite map showing a line of showers moving from Cheshire to Lincs and know that it will shower, why are the BBC still forecasting a dry and sunny day? It has just slung it down ruling any combining out today.

Darkish, but clear sky and very still.

I completely ignore the BBC now.

You can more or less guarantee that sunday afternoon and night will be dry enough for combining while dealing with a mega hangover. That seems a general rule here while most of the working week will be wet. Saturday will be dry enough to ruin a social event and prompt an early return home just to find it's still 24.5 %.
