Not rained this morning but not very special drying weather. Might grab the last of my spring barley this afternoon. Only a couple of rounds left but flat as a pancake. Then looks like Sunday will be an opportunity to do some wheat. Need two days to clear it. Some is so thin it will be a 20 mph job. Tomorrow looks like a write off but I might put some through the drier on Saturday while the wheat in the field is drying off.
All the green gages are on the ground or mouldy on the tree, but the Mrs has made a couple of pies and jammed over half of them. It was a very short harvest window for them. Pears holding on and looks like a good year for them. Bramleys getting blown off too early.
