This is the last six months daily rainfall figures from a fancy weather station down by the river about three miles from me. We usually get a bit less up here on the hill.

was just starting to ease off but mrs 4 course has gone to get her hair done so it will now p--- down at least until she gets home , apparently this hair job is likely to take a couple of hours or more.To be followed by much wailing as to the ruination of the hairdo, getting in and out of the car and to the car park as due to covid the council have suspended all street parking any where near the place.Least its not my fault ,cant see how it could be construed as such as offered to drop her off en route to pick some spare parts up

Another 35mm yesterday brings our total to over 120mm in the last week,salvage job now,forecast dry until next Wednesday but doubt we can get near anything until Monday,we were lucky to have crops looking well until last week only to be savaged by this week's wind and rain,not sure why we keep putting ourselves through this!
