Only had 1mm here after all the promises of lots of rain. Desperately dry and dusty as this is the first damp for a month.
For the first time for months though the temperature upstairs in our house with the windows open has dropped below 21'C.

I feel I really must apologise for moaning about the dry weather in April / May. It didn't affect yield too much, unlike the monsoon which perturbed me at harvest. Little did I know back then we'd be in for 10 months of continual precipitation. If anyone catches me blubbing about droughts again, please feel free to come round and sandpaper my face off. I most humbly promise it won't happen again. I fear I have let the entire industry down with my no rain event whinging. Once again I must apologise for my heinous crime.
