Forecast The last of the overnight wind and rain will soon clear away from the south-east Essex coast this morning, leaving a bright day with sunshine and the small chance of a shower. Winds could still gust 40-45mph up to around 9am, but thereafter easing considerably. Mainly dry, clear and cold this evening and much of the night, but towards dawn Monday there is the potential for an area of showery rain, sleet and possible snow to move in from the west across south-western parts of the anglia. Confidence on this is still uncertain at this stage, however.
