It was still minus 6 at 10am this morning at Prestwick , according to the Met Office. That is right on the shoreline BTW. Been freezing non stop since Wednesday here.

No precipitation for 24 hrs but a very damp feel , as per 'usual.'

Feels Cool in A North Easterly, gusting to 20 knots but not freezing , staying just above , owing to heavy cloud cover.

Status: Aware (Wind)
Forecast: Brisk north-east winds today, with outbreaks of rain this morning, heaviest in the south-east of the region. The rain will clear this afternoon, but scattered showers will feed in from the north-east, these turning increasingly wintry later with hail, sleet or wet snow inland. Showers easing for a time this evening, but heavy showers moving into south-eastern parts later in the night. The odd gust around 40mph along coastal fringes exposed to the north-east wind. Showers persisting through the evening and overnight.

It hasn’t rained as much over the last week but two lots of slow thawing snow make the ground worse than ever and never known it as bad for dampness in the sheds hopefully the easterly wind will dry things up.
