A cold start to the day with cloud building from the west and light rain arriving by this afternoon, perhaps briefly falling as sleet or wet snow but with no accumulations expected. Outbreaks of rain will continue throughout the afternoon and evening before clearing during tonight with a few clear spells developing later in the night.

Forecast - 2 to 5 Days (weather and hazard summary)
Cloudy with some spots of light rain tomorrow. Turning cold in clear spells across Norfolk during the early part of tomorrow night but a band of heavy rain will arrive into London later in the evening and this will spread northeastwards across the whole area overnight, with some sleet possible in Norfolk. 24 hour rainfall totals of 10-15mm are possible in some southern and western parts of Anglia. Further heavy and persistent rain on Thursday morning, this clearing northeastwards during the early part of the afternoon although it will remain cloudy with some patchy light rain and drizzle through the afternoon. A further
spell of heavy rain is likely to move in from the west through the evening and overnight. 24 hour rainfall totals of 10-15mm are likely across many northern and eastern parts but with 15-20mm possible across parts of Norfolk. Mostly cloudy with further rain at times on Friday. Becoming drier, clearer and colder from the north during Friday night but there is the low risk of a band of rain, sleet and snow affecting southern parts of the before clearing southwards on Saturday morning. Bright with a cold north-easterly breeze on Saturday which may feed in a few scattered light wintry showers with a cold and frosty night following.

Yeah and to think last year this coming week we started drilling again (yes I know let’s not talk about Feb)

It seems to have rained every fecking week since late Nov this year
