Been a super day, clear blue sky and a gentle breeze from the SSW max 20C and had the air-con on in the tractor.

walked most fields today in the sunshine and plans made to spray a cover crop off ,spread some fert and get organised to drill .Mounted machines onto tractors filled sprayer with water ready for the morning. just let dog out and its p----- down

puddles down lane ,though concrete drying .Rain gauge showing no more than a couple of ml which fell onto dry so might still have 1/2 a chance by tonight if wind drops later to spray the cover off.
Cant do with another season of doom and gloom

jan we had just over 3 times our average rainfall so far in feb are at 1/4 of averageand dec was double the average. Even though weve had a fairly low rainfall its not been a drying feb, total rainfall for the last 3 months is double the average plus freezing temps ,land is cold and wet reckon we need a few long warm days to get to the good ole T200

Yeah not sure whether to put fert on the stubbles as well or get them sprayed and then fert straight after drilling
