How can the BBC on line weather report get it so wrong.
Worked ground down today well this morning as the bloody rain stopped me, forecast was light showers with sunshine, I now have 20a of sh#t to drill tomorrow which won't go. More rain forecast on Thursday, let's hope they get that wrong.
dont know what we have had but its wet, but drying well putting the last of the barley in because it might be the last chance looking at the forcast, co4 on trioing.
Anybody recommend an app thats tells the truth in a 2-3 day weather window? too wet here to drill wheat unless you want to puddle it in, semi worked ground is a no no, they are saying next week is dryer but we all know that,s wish fall thinking.
Local variations. We had 30 mm here from about 4 pm to midnight. Torrential. Lashing it down. Had to go out before bedtime and make sure the downspout grids were clear. Fair swilled the drilling we did yesterday. Nearly washed some of the lighter stuff flat but its dry underneath so no standing water. My agronomist said they had only had 14 mm further north. More forecast for tomorrow. We don't really want or need it. At least we haven't got any preem on, yet.
