Yep. It’s changed our beet harvest from being an easy clean run to now turning in to a protracted mess all the way to Christmas. Hasn’t been helped at all by not being able to shift one lorry load due to factory problems. No doubt those lads are trying their best but it’s impacted us considerably back up the line.
What can we do? Maintenance and a garden hedge reduction job in town this morning. New sideline that’s mushrooming by word of mouth. Stuff nobody else wants to do.
Probably more profitable than farming too.

Lot cooler here in Angus today, would not be surprised if first dusting of snow is spotted on top of the glen.
Was snow dusting on Cairngorms weekend past.
