1 but feels like -4 here at the moment with fresh northerly breeze, a high of 5 forecast with rain this afternoon, evidence of some snow during the night but not much to talk about, wind sounds quite keen outside.

East Anglia :

Status: Yellow
Forecast:
Patchy rain, sleet, and wet snow moving south this morning, producing a thin, slushy covering very locally, most likely in Cambridge shire. Precipitations tending to turn back to rain from the north into the afternoon. Rain becoming more showery through this evening and becoming direr in the west of the region. Cold overnight here, with further showers overnight, mainly in Norfolk and Suffolk, falling as sleet, hail, or wet snow at times away from the east coast. 24-hour rainfall equivalent totals of 10-15mm locally, most likely in Norfolk and north Suffolk

Wind Detail:

Winds increasing through this morning, with northerly or north-westerly gusts of 40-45mph fairly widely through this afternoon. The strongest winds are likely in the King's Lynn area, and between Cromer and Sheringham, where gusts around 50mph are likely through the afternoon and into the evening before winds ease somewhat overnight.
