Heavy rain in places this morning, pushing across the region and moving north-eastwards, accompanied by brisk winds. For the afternoon some sunny spells will develop, although south-westerly winds will remain brisk. It will become very mild for the time of year. Overnight will see cloud increase from the south-west with some patchy outbreaks of rain too.

Tomorrow will continue to see the very mild air in place and it will remain largely cloudy with some patchy rain at times. Variable cloud overnight. Rain pushing eastwards across the whole region on Friday morning but outbreaks will be of moderate intensity at best. Mild with sunny spells for the rest of the day on Friday along with the odd shower followed by clear spells overnight.
Sunny spells again on Saturday along with the odd shower, more likely in the west. Cloudier overnight with outbreaks of rain possibly reaching the far west by the end of the night. Heavy showers on Sunday morning, becoming less frequent by the afternoon with more in the way of sunny spells. Clear spells following overnight.

Wolf Creek pass (Southern Colorado) ski resort has received 92 inches of snow in the last 7 days...........total for season now at 180 inches.

On the news here that Colorado has had some bad fires last week,, because of no snow , gales bring down power lines and fires breaking out , looked a mess
