Rain and sleet dying back to eastern fringes through the evening and overnight. 24 hour rainfall totals of 10-15mm are likely widely in northern and central areas, with totals in excess of 15mm not ruled out locally.</p><p>A few showers along northern and eastern coastal fringes on Sunday, some of which could fall as hail, sleet or wet snow in blustery north-westerly winds. Largely dry and sunny farther south and west, but cold. A few showers continuing in the north-east overnight, gradually fading. A dry, cold and frosty night inland. Mostly dry inland on Monday, with lighter winds, but remaining cold. The odd shower along eastern coastal fringes. Turning less cold overnight as winds turn westerly.
