Whilst the map is downloading, it can make the app run a little slower than usual. Once the map has finished downloading, the app should be back to normal. Are you using the latest version of iOS?

That makes sense I suppose. Running ios9 still but that should make no real difference as ios10 is only out a few days

I think I am missing something as I can't see what benefit the app gives a normal farm? Clearly if your running many thousands of acres and have many staff members then yes the ability to see something on a shared map makes sense, but the for likes of most of us then if i know there is a problem area then I know and its as easy to just tell your single employee.

Unless you can measure off it then I dot see it being of any use at all.

Having a team get together this afternoon to talk about areas and lengths - will update then.
Other examples of how people have been using it on smaller farms:

Plotting out areas of pest or blackgrass for referring to later.
Labelling all the fields up in 'features' so that external people (hay cutters etc) know where you are talking about.
Marking planned routes of piping/drains.
Making a note of hidden hazards.
Keeping a note of something out in the middle of a field if you need to find it again later.

I hope you can find it useful in the meantime before we add in different features.

Keep that feedback coming!

In a hurry to copy apple they made the change to non replaceable batteries - suspect someone might regret this decision.
