Zero grazing.

Any thoughts or comments on the GT120 from grass tech? I know there seems to be modifications and upgrades done over the years, including going to pz mowers. Seems a fair selection of tidy second hand ones available.
My wagon decided to kill itself a month ago, it might be reparable but it's going to be a while as the parts need to be made as Kemper stopped making them 30 years ago. I can't believe how much me and the cows are missing the grass.
Few reasons i'm thinking of swapping over. Wider tyre's and better travelling. Ease of hitching/unhitching being a one main tractor show. Also availability of spares if it comes to the worst. I'm hoping faster forward speed will mitigate some of the fact of having a smaller mower.

Yes. He’s expecting a bit too much especially when you add on the £1000 auctioneers commission.
Found one identical from a dealer who is no longer involved with grasstech a few months older for £3500k less than he’s expecting delivered with all the spares he has on the shelf.

I hadn't seen a price , just that it was in the sale on Saturday.

Hi guys. Sorry I know this post isn't related to zerograzing really but any help would be appreciated. Jcb 526 56 always bringing up fault codes sometimes wont take forward and reverse constantly jumps out of reverse into neutral and brings up fault code wont go in reverse until key is flicked on and off then takes reverse again for 2 seconds then back to neutral. Anyone ever experience the same problems?

How’s everyone getting on this year zero grazing? See more and more people doing it, we didn’t start until 3 weeks ago, wanted to try a summer without it but buffer feed stocks meant it was easier if I started again. Cutting 2nd cut regrowths 3-4 weeks growth, looks nice stuff 12ME Analysis but really struggling milk quality wise, anyone else having similar?

Dont reckon it's just the heat causing problems with milk quality rather than the forage? Mine has suffered big time this past week or so and nothing about their diet has changed

Exactly the same, nothing different. Been zeroing since early March , everything has made sense ( if you know what I mean) until the heatwave, now nothing adds up but I guess just grin and bare for now👍

Glad I’m not the only one, just started feeding first cut to try and help intakes and that’s not helping as only 11.4 protein despite being 12.1 ME and 76 D value.

Nutritionist blames creamery and vice versa then they both blame me then they say its just the cows I have. But I don't know its a tricky one. What made silage protein low ?
