If it saves one load of cake, it pays for itself outright

And before anyone starts blowing, don’t have the field infrastructure to graze
Was that this one?

Vendors are friends of mine.

Mine hates short wet grass. Just won’t fly off the mower to the elavator. Long wet is fine, dry and short is fine.

My last lot of bales (2nd cut) were too dry and 2 weeks too late being cut due to weather and I’d been putting some regumaize 44 on to try and keep them going but since the grass milk is up by 20% on lots of cows and 16% across the lot.

The fingers are too far apart in the elevator on the grass tec, I think that’s why it won’t handle the short wet grass

Not grass silage … had to buy in bales BUT if this works then it could be an answer although I suspect that the machine is too small with a 7’ mower and too fragile being Italian to cope with feeding 161 (tm) cows
Suppose there’s not great money tied up in that machine at least will let you see if it works for you or not without losing a lot on a machine next door neighbour bought a new grass tech machine in July one year used it for that season and never used since

That’s the thinking. If it works by putting on litres, then it will be a front mower and forage wagon which would double up as a silage trailer

Would take 2 loads a day with that machine to feed 161 cows and they could probably eat more if given the chance
