Well, ive commited to buying one, with loader fitted( armatrac) low hours, a surprising amount of rust in places, but generally quite nice. Was hoping to acquire a nh, jd, or valtra, but all seem to have done silly hiurs at 10 yrs old. Any useful tips would be welvome, servicing, where to get bits, decent dealers, websites, things to watch for etc. Thryre not the most popular, so would appreciate any useful info.

I was doubting my decision to buy on til today when jenkinsons advertised a 9000 hr one for 17950 plus vat...that gladdened my heart! At least they can achieve those hours, and it looked weĺl

Hi sorry for confusion....ours is a lowhoured 105 with armatrac loader...i was comparing it to jenkinsons just to illustrate the high hours on their example.
Very little info on these tractors on the net, apart from the badly translated zetor owners manual

Understand now... I'm guessing your model is just a follow on from the 10540. They were a good, straight forward, simple tractor. Unless they have improved the materials, the only things prone to a little trouble were the clutch and brake slave and master cylinders leaking. Not hard to replace and not overly expensive.
Zetors are just as good as the mainstream stuff and it's just brand snobbery that stops people buying them.

I am not sure whether a 105 power is what was a Forterra 10641 /10540 in the previous 2 ranges before the 105 , or what was a proxima , with the cranked back axle .
I have a 06 Forterra 10641 with 6100 hours . Very happy with it . All I have put on it since I bought it with 4750 hrs are 4 tyres and a battery . Quite perky manouverable tractor . It has a manual shuttle with a dry clutch . 1234 on one gear stick with 123 on buttons on same gear stick . No reverse in gear 4 . High and low as well . Carraro front axle .
I actually hired a similar tractor for a few days when at silage . 8000 hrs and going like a watch .
Very hard to find a newer Zetor. Say 2010 on . New Zetor tractors are gone expensive relative to new MF or Case/NH stockman models .

Tom Poole in Rosenallis Co Laois. A very knowledgeable man with years of experience on Zetors.
Whereabouts are you located? Sorry I see Cork. My tractor was sold new by Cyril O Sullivan , outside Mitchelstown . I have met him , as he would be friendly with Tom . Cyril also sold a neighbour of mine a 10540 4 or 5 years ago , met him when he delivered it .

Grand thanks, cyril would be around 40 miles from us, he seems to have taken on steyr agency, not sure on his position with zetor now.
Also a crowd near killarney dabbling in them, zetor ireland website shocking.
Our little tractor is 2011, so modern to me
