I've been reading all your replies and they are helpful. Now, at least I know that it's normal to get wound up about this sort of thing. However, I've tried to pluck up the courage to say something and I still haven't said a word to them yet. I'm thinking that perhaps I should wait for it to pile up and then let my partner's relations know. Either that or I'm going to have to somehow get around to telling them.
The op is female and a bit nervous regarding confrontation, maybe one of the lads on here could do a drive past with the muck spreader on, if the op lets us know where abouts they are @GuestNo offence mate, I feel for your situation, but what exactly are you so afraid of re talking to them? What's the worst that's likely to happen? I'm sure you've argued with someone before if you have to, especially since you know you're the one in the right. And if he the kinda numpty to lay his hands on you, then call the law and mention the dog shite whilst your at it!
Thank fek we don't live near youWe just chucked it back with a little coal shovel. They got the message. Good job they did else it would of escalated. Smeared on their cars, door handles etc. I can be about at all times of day and night.

I suppose as objectionable as it is to us all, someone chucking their muck onto someone elses land, at the end of the day, it is up to the owner of the land to address the issue & not a relatives partner. Who are likely to be just told to mind their own business
I quite agreeTreat ignorance with ignorance
They didnt come and ask nicely if they could chuck the doggie poos into my field so why should I ask them nicely to be allowed to chuck it back
Their garden is a little patch of concrete and now they've come back and shovelled it up and thrown it back into the field. They don't seem to be getting the message. They have also started going into the field and the next thing will be their dogs roaming the field. The seem to be taking advantage more and more each day. Yet, you hear about them complaining about other people's inappropriate behaviour.
or better some cattle crap !Do you have dogs? If yes, gather some up and throw over the fence into their garden. Ignorant idiots.
