Altering others quotes

Just noticed an issue which seems wrong.
I made a post which was then quoted in another post by another member.
The issue is that the wording of my quote was altered quite substantially by the other member. It wasn't done with any malice or anything but it made it look like I was saying something completely different.
I would of thought it wasn't possible to alter the wording of someone else's post except to remove unrelevent parts of it.

Just tried it. Does seem like a fault!
