View attachment 65735Got loads of tracked stuff I'll get some more pics when I get chance , also got a jcb dumper real old thing don't see many I'll dig it out and take a picture!
Yes it's 4 speed torque T reg I'm not that up on JCBs more a ford and case man!@Kevtherev the 3c pictured above was from westbury aswell! Your mates won't be a power train if it's a mkII tho power trains were only late mkIII's I'm guessing a mkII is a 4 speed brockhouse torque convertor
Boy o boy I started out operating one of these, had a set of rippers and 4 in one on mine, I can remember your hands and feet were extremely busy!! I can also remember replacing the clutch/ brake bands through a removable plate behind the battery box, you couldn't see but only feel what you were doing! by the time you had finnished you had no bark left on your hands for sure, fond memories though very good reliable machine, unlike cat equipment now!!unfortunately.
Never seen a powerslide on one of these, only jcb's and @John 1594 that massey is probably a 3303 ans the instant reverse control is brilliant.far easier than a modern lhr transmission control
First one for me too! many (happy) hours with fingers chilled to the bone because I couldn't work the back actor with gloves on!View attachment 65743

I used a digger years ago and had the front bucket crowded as far as that. Quick push into the far bank of the ditch with the back hoe and both front rams were bent! Actually snapped one of them. :OOur old war horse cost £400 12 years ago, starts runs digs first time every time, quick hitch on the back , ace tool, they don't build em like this anymoreView attachment 65745In action with the root cutter
