Sat in the office.😄. With the undrilled beet. Should be in by end of the week 🤞
Beet in this morning. White on the ground first thing, fair frost.

Neighbouring farm still has beet to drill. Meant to be let to BS. Probably 150acres or so. Contractor only sprayed stubble off 10 days ago and put base fert on. Some of it is reasonably heavy. Be interesting to see when they eventually get it drilled and what it establishes like.
The more BS cock up their own beet the better for us.

I hope you only said nice things about your contractor……
I thought there were a few sneaky questions in there so I gave up after a few questions.
At least there were some biscuits for the haulier!!!
I gave up after the first question...then got an email thanking me for completing the survey 🤔. So was somewhat surprised to get the hamper!
The BBMBH has been recently spoilt by @robbie . I've had tales of alsorts of fine food being supplied 😳

And that's while hauling mediocre sold wheat........I told him just imagine what cuisine he'd have dined on if he'd been hauling wheat the other year at £330/t!!!!🤣

I got the impression the survey was swayed towards putting blame on contractors and hauliers and diverting blame away from BS.
Exactly. I can't remember if there is a way for BS to know who our lifter is? Obviously they know our hauliers. For the record my haulier and lifter are excellent but the weather was utter shite and there's not much anyone can do about that. Obviously if there was more money in the job there would be more harvester and haulage capacity............
And allegedly BS are the worst for trying to pay their lifters and hauliers as little as possible

Biscuits.

Lots of Biscuits.

Then the haulier and harvester can nearly walk on water 😇

Except that's an oxymoron as the extra weight from food intake 🙈
