Neighbouring farm still has beet to drill. Meant to be let to BS. Probably 150acres or so. Contractor only sprayed stubble off 10 days ago and put base fert on. Some of it is reasonably heavy. Be interesting to see when they eventually get it drilled and what it establishes like.

I got the impression the survey was swayed towards putting blame on contractors and hauliers and diverting blame away from BS.
Exactly. I can't remember if there is a way for BS to know who our lifter is? Obviously they know our hauliers. For the record my haulier and lifter are excellent but the weather was utter shite and there's not much anyone can do about that. Obviously if there was more money in the job there would be more harvester and haulage capacity............
And allegedly BS are the worst for trying to pay their lifters and hauliers as little as possible

I told bs how good my haulier was, I also told them how disappointed I was with the shoddy service I'd received from my harvester man........oh wait a minute!!!!
