Knocked the night shift on its head just going round at 11/12 o clock then back up at 4.30 ish had 2 nights in bed in a row feel absolutely knackered for some wierd reason
Funny thing how it has an effect on the body
I’m always worst the first night sleep I get, your body realises it’s knackered. Wonder how much our life expectancy is reduced over lambing/calving?

Messing about with sleep pattern is proven to reduce life expectancy dramatically , maybe ahs to be alot tho not just lambing time i dont know but they say its horrendously bad for you .

Thats half the contractors fecked then, some live on red bull.
Heart attack juice. Lad I know always on it had 7 cans on a night out when he was driving and had a heart attack in toilets 28 year old. I have never drank any since. People need to take care of themselves. I always try get at least 8 hours per night so lambing time is a shock to my body

I do similar most lambing times, much to Mrs NeilO's disgust.😂
I was looking for another hole to tighten my belt this morning, to stop my trousers falling down. Having nearly finished lambing, I guess I'll just have to gain a few pounds again instead.
I think three and a half stone was the most I’ve lost but that was when it was all outside lambing that’s where the work is if there’s a lot to catch and lead about
I don’t know wether loosing as much in 2 weeks means I’ve been busy or means I don’t do much the other 48 weeks of the year one or the other 🤓

I always think it's a bit of both.🤐

My record was 3/4 of a stone over a (long) YFC agm weekend in Blackpool. Boss's wife was trying all sorts of diets at the time, and I trumped it with a weekend of alcohol and 8 hours sleep, spread over 3 nights so as not to overdo the sleeping.😂
Not sure such a diet would be conducive to a long life though...
