    2005 Manitou MLT627 Turbo - question

Can anyone tell me what size metric cap I need to purchase to cap off the brake line so I can identify whether it's the front axle or the rear axle that needs the new seals.

    2005 Manitou MLT627 Turbo - question

Replaced bad brake master cylinder all was good. Now, pedal goes to the floor and I have to bleed the brakes and it works for a very short time. My question is how difficult is it to replace the brake seals in the axles. System is full with mineral oil but won't pump up.

Brake Master Cylinder is leaking. Is a rebuild seal kit an option or do I need to just replace it with a new one.

    2005 Manitou MLT627 Turbo - question

You were so right. Changed oil and put antisquark and problem is gone. Now I'm curious about the heat gauge. Most of the time when I turn the key on it pegs all the way to the right. Every now and then it works perfectly. I changed the sending unit on the motor. Had no effect. Still the...

I assume that I can rebuild it. Are their any issues that would prevent me from tearing it apart and rebuilding it.

    2005 Manitou MLT627 Turbo - question

The MLT 627 has developed a loud popping grinding noise in the front axle. Also the front axle was very hot to the touch right in the middle. For a high hours machine what would be the best guess on whats going on. It was full of oil when we checked it. Thanks for any replies.

    2005 Manitou MLT627 Turbo - question

Problem solved. Thanks. Next question. The front steering cylinder is leaking and needs new seals. Is the removal of the steering cylinder a major job that the dealer would need to do or something that I can reasonably tackle.

    2005 Manitou MLT627 Turbo - question

Purchased a very used and abused Manitou 627T a month ago. Completely serviced it and with a few issues we have her up and running. But, while checking it out we found that the previous owner had left the air intake sensor just hanging down by the motor. We don't have any warning lights etc...

    Manitou MLT627 Transmission Strainer

Im up and running. Two issues were causing my problem. As you suggested the gear stick sensor was open all the time and the hand brake plug was not making good contact. Replaced the gear switch and cleaned the hand brake plug and all is well. Thank you so much for all the assistance and help...

    Manitou MLT627 Transmission Strainer

The connector I found under the hand brake has four wires going to it. Black, orange Brown and Blue. I don't read any connective between any of the wires regardless of the position of the handbrake. Can you tell me which wires should be joined up. Thanks

    Manitou MLT627 Transmission Strainer

Ok, I have checked the transmission fuse and its good. I have bypassed the seat switch and disconnected the hand brake and gearstick switches. Still no go. I have disconnected the clutch/brake pedal with no help. I switched the transmission relay with the one beside it no help. I have...

    Manitou MLT627 Transmission Strainer

Thanks for all the suggestions. Now, it will not move at all even after letting it run for a while. It doesn't seem to be sending voltage to the solenoids on the transmission. I've checked the seat switch but I want to make sure I'm not missing something simple. Things I know I need to check...

    Manitou MLT627 Transmission Strainer

Thank you for the replies. It is a 2005 MLT627 Turbo. It has been abused by the previous owner and is in bad need of a complete service. We are just starting to do all the service work. Once you get it going it works perfectly. But when you first get in it the lift works, the steering works...

    Manitou MLT627 Transmission Strainer

Can anyone tell me if my Manitou MLT627 has a transmission strainer. The book says it does but we cannot find it. If it does please advise me on where its located. We are experiencing intermittent forward and reverse issues and are in the process of changing all filters etc to see if that...
