    Ford 6600 overfueling?

Hmm, how would you know are they colour coded or something unless it's the compressed depth?

    Ford 6600 overfueling?

A quick update. I remembered an old trick I was shown by an AA man years ago to identify faults in engines using easy start. I gave it a squirt and it was only firing every other stroke so really that points to head gasket as the quickest way to lose two cylinders. I need to buy a kit but don't...

    Ford 6600 overfueling?

Thanks for the replies. I have isolated the lift pump and fitted an electric one as I kept getting fuel run back. I have no idea of the age of the engine but it's a replacement one with the webbing on the block buy an inline pump. I will get a few moments today to hopefully prod further.

I'll try new oil but it may be a bit late!!! Timing as in what sense, aren't they all gear set?

    Ford 6600 overfueling?

Access, in the true sense of British understatement, could be described as 'limited'. Its next to the cab with radiator, boom mountings and chassis rails all adding their bit. I have no idea about oil stupidly I just imagined they were lubed like rotors with the diesel.

    Ford 6600 overfueling?

Hi. It's not a 66 but a 66 engine in our old Sanderson. It's been relatively fine up until a few days ago when it began to run a bit rough. Went through the usual fueling new filters etc but it got worse and now it hardly starts, won't tick over rough as a dogs goolies until quite fast when it...

Yep zero tolerance in a 2kg sample out of 29,000kg. All the mills I've been to put it over colour sorters anyway so what's the problem except to add charges.

Glyphosate, retreat of the antis pt1

Brighton Council, that bastion of the Green movement and all things trendy thought it would be a good idea that they should ban the use of glyphosate on the city streets to help the environment. Roll on four years and having tried all the green alternatives the place is a jungle and they have...

    FFS

I'm not going to go in to full details of the sh,tfest that is the programming behind this but suffice to say the RPA have agreed to me applying online but emailing the corrections necessary for them to fill in. The final straw is when I hit print all I get is the summary not the agreement. Do...

    Track Marshall 135

They look like Ransomes discs which were always a bugger to set up and were very sensitive to changes in conditions. Well made but obviously more for an eye on the export market with their mainly bolted construction.

    Direct/Min Till

Depends how much straw or trash but the best leveling tool is a Dutch harrow. Much maligned by people who don't know how to use them but nothing better if set up properly.

    Cereal seed prices….

D You can treat against bunt yourself with vinegar seed treatment. Sounds daft but it works and a hell of a lot cheaper and diy with an auger and knapsack.
