    Mobile drinker

The kiwi tech micro troughs are brilliant, the cattle seem to prefer drinking from them instead of the big troughs. I’d avoid the fittings, long and short of it they don’t work, you’ll end up hating them!

    Postsavers - failed

I wouldn’t bother with rounds as inters if your going chestnut, use the cleft posts, higher percent of heartwood going to last longer. As to having no preservatives, chestnut contains more tanin than oak so it’s naturally rot resistant. Oaks good for strainers + gateposts only if you strip the...

    Postsavers - failed

Dave if you ever want some chestnut give me a shout I’m only up the road. Anyone had any problems with their KMR being temperamental? Ours has funny spells where it’s like the actuator isn’t engaging the firing mechanism.

    Fencing costs.

depends on the ground etc, but the cost of installing the fence should be £2, people will say a little more than that i expect. Taking down the old fence will probably be charged by the hour.

    Sheep fencing

Personally Id go HT/8/80/22. Sheep wont get their heads stuck (the smaller stuff is 8/80/15) Get yourself tornado or some estate, I cant say much posistive about the other brands. Timber wise its a minefield, if you want something to last get hold of fence and forget, not too far from you and...
