I've managed to spend another hour on the tractor today. I have cleaned all the solenoid connections and checked for volts on the red and yellow wires (the thick ones) which I have. I took off the connector at the front of the black box (has yellow, red and black wires) and with the ignition on...

Rev counter works. Been dung spreading all day so not had a chance to look at that tractor today but I tried cleaning the wiring harness before and all the connections to the solenoids.

Thanks for the help. Still no luck with the tractor ... I've put a multimeter on the alternator and I've got a 14v output. Cleaned and remade a few connections and have rhe lift back. Now don't have diff lock, pto, hi/lo or splitter. Is there any common feed for these?
