Have a Trimble CFX 750 unlocked to RTK and was going to tag into Neighbours RTK mast to be told that the Trimble integrated radio wont receive the signal, anyone else had the experience and what was there solution or shall I just buy another "make" that will receive the signal. I know that this is total extravagance but only 80 days to getting my retirement funds so be able to spend it on this.!

If it's one of our Topcon masts, all you need is an external radio from us
Similar to this (obviously not on a greenstar receiver)

The internal radio in the Trimble CFX-750 display will only pick up an RTK correction from a Trimble RTK base station, you would need to source an external radio if you are using an external RTK base station as mentioned above.

RTK Farming currently offer an RTK network across East Anglia which customers running RTK enabled Trimble products can subscribe to annually at a cost of £500.00 ex VAT per receiver after paying an initial membership fee of £200.00 ex VAT - www.rtkfarming.co.uk.

Have a Satel thing to make Trimble work in a Claas Outback. Still sporadically drops out compared to my other machines that are on full Trimble kit. Ideally I will replace the claas screen with a Trimble.

.

We are using a different base with a Satel radio and our CFX750 and internal radio work fine.

Wheatseeker,
My Trimble system (CFX750) has the Trimble radio and has all the options that go with it, but the system my neighbour has is one supplied by Precise Solution and whatever that system is apparently it wont talk to what I have (I would need to purchase an external radio and fitting about £2200). Talked to PJ above what they have will take less time to get me up and running than it will for me to send them a Cheque for there charges. Just on 74 Ha I need 74 more days till I am 65 and can use all my pension money to pay for it.

Hi Andrew, I'm new on the forum so only just picked this up. My apologies if you have been waiting for a response, how can I help?

Hello PJ,
I made the enquiry a month ago at the Doe show in fact.
Basically i need to know how much an upgrade from HP2/Rangepoint to RTK would cost using your mast network. I can provide postcodes.
