YouTube links were embedding fine yesterday am. when I posted some on classic tractors and kit in Agricultural Matters.

I can't give you the technical answer but it is because the link somehow starts part way through the video. I noticed it my self and find that if you reload the vid in YouTube it will have a different URL (?) and then load correctly on here. Your link tries to starts 26 seconds in.

@Robigus you could be right. I just tried it with @JP1 link using the forum embed media button and it said specified URL can't be embedded.
In the post above I used the share code from under the video on youtube, rather than the URL from the browser title bar.

By far the best way to put YT videos here, just C&P the link into the reply box, you dont even need to use the film strip icon .

That doesn't work with JP's link though.
Edit it is what I normally do.

Click the share icon, you then get the link which is in blue, just Copy that, then paste in the box where you reply to a post.

If someone posts a link that comes up like it has in that post I just right click the link and open it in a new tab.

Yes, the link works fine but JP was trying to embed the video.

What? You managed to get the link to embed or you got the share code from youtube after clicking JP's link? (which is what I did for post #4)

No, I used the embed code from the video, to try the embed icon here, to see if that worked for me

If you delete the https bit etc it embeds quite happily - just enter the text below:
