MF 6290. Dash and Starting Problems. 7750 Hours.

I have a MF 6290 that will not start!

my 6290 has being going brilliant so far this season, then 2 days ago the PTO speed sensor started reading erratic and then went off. I got out checked wire had rubbed through. so repaired and then was working fine again for the rest of the day.

the next day went to the tractor started up drove to the job no problems. stopped the tractor and it would not start again.
it was turning over but was not lighting up the dash.

so to get it home I removed the stop solenoid on the pump and pulled the guts out it. started straight up (still no dash) drove home but oblivious had to stall the tractor to stop it.

all the tractor is illuminating on the dash now is 'D' in the gearbox select. and low oil pressure light. nothing else. the indicators and headlights work as should but no gauges or other functions, still no power to the stop solenoid.

any suggestions? i asked our MF dealer and they lust looked blank...... as helpful as ever!!

have you tried the simple things like the multi pin plugs above the engine ? take them apart bit of wd40 and see if things work have some one in cab while you mess with them

I have gone through everything possible in the way of connections. and can not find anything to indicate a fault. ny other suggestions??
