I'm still waiting on that dry spell forecast for around the 20th.:whistle: SB sprayed off just before the rain started, so we could crack on when Simon said. Even got the stubble turnip seed in the shed ready to chase the combine.


Sorry @Simon Keeling , I suspect you love being reminded of your predictions.:)

Over the last few months weve had all sorts of weather including lots of rain .
Talking at dinner tonight today is the first day for a long time it has rained nonstop for 16 hours with out a break .
I know we might be in a dryer area etc but this is an unusual event for us
and its still going !!
 
Yeah I know, it's what we have to take as forecasters. I did back out of the 20th ideas though (although it was the 14th before I said it could go wrong) so at least you had some notice.

This 2nd/3rd pressure rise has been on the cards for a few weeks though (if it comes off) so I'm hoping you still have faith in me :(

I do try to explain why the prediction has been made, rather than some sooth saying seaweed or fir cone forecast ;)

First qualification of a forecast? A very thick skin :)
